The term Manglik is one of the most talked concepts in Indian marriage. But there are few people who are not clear with the concept of manglik and manglik dosha??
The word "mangala", which typically means "auspicious", is also a name for Mars. Few astrologers have discovered that Mars is called Mangala less because it is inherently auspicious than because a native must perform many penances, sacrifices, and other auspicious actions to prevent its evil effects.
People believing in Indian astrology always fear that whether a Manglik Dosh is formed in their horoscope or not. In Indian marriage it is believed that person having a Manglik Dosh can safely marry anyone who’s having a manglik Dosha approx having equal strength, because the manglik doshas are said to cancel each other. If he/she is married to a non-Manglik then the result can be very devastating for marriage, it can cause uneasiness and tension in relationship that can lead to separation and divorce, and in some cases, partner is bound to see unhappy circumstances.
